I have been working on quite a tough project recently. We are trying to make SEO waves in the pure mobile publishing business and I have been testing some really interesting but very time consuming techniques.
So, on Friday I decided to take a break but at the same time I felt compelled to update the GoMo News mobile site. So I deleted the existing gomonews.mobi and started again.
I am happy with the results as without even trying I got a ready.mobi score of 5 - (the old site was a 3.5).

But what surprised me this morning is that after only a little tweaking and optimisation and a couple of the right pings to social media sites and I hit the top spot of Google with the new site after only a matter of days. The same is true for mobile sites such as Taptu (but to be fair we were there anyway!).
